In this project the location as well as the company’s heritage dictated the majority of our design decisions. This family office needed to have elements of old Cairo being located in the Korba area which is obvious in the interior details while still maintaining the functionality of modern work flow. There’s also a coziness and warmth that we wanted to add to the spaces to emphasis the fact that this is a family business that grew into one of the leading companies in their field. The office in general gives an overall retro feel and was enhanced by the time taken to add accessories and artwork that accentuated every corner of the space.
